In the XVII century, two Jesuits face violence and persecution when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor and spread of Christianity. Two Jesuits, Sebastio Rodriguez and Francis Garrpe, a trip to the XVII century Japan, which is under the Tokugawa shogunate banned Catholicism and almost all the foreign importer. There they witnessed the persecution of Japanese Christians in the hands of their government, which wants to cleanse Japan of all Western influence. In the end, the priests and the individual Rodriguez travels through the countryside, I wonder why God is silent, and his children suffer.
