The deeper impact is on our understanding of health and wellbeing, our ability to apply it to the design of our interiors, products, buildings and environment – but, most importantly – to apply it to ourselves.

Durable, flexible, adaptive … These are some of the words that are linked to “Resilience” when it is mentioned. The heart of this multifaceted concept lies a simple theory of a regenerative and passive system that transcends scale and time. When applied to the built environment, it means repurposing and transforming the current context to mimic Nature’s way of a “no waste” approach. Every design intervention is responsibly planned and destined with the possibility of more than one application throughout the cycle. It avoids the take, construct, toss linear model.

EVERYDAY EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN FOR ALL

Technology is changing the way the world responds to interaction. It is getting progressively challenging to create positive engagement in public spaces. A holistic human-centred approach is called upon to create a memorable design service experience even when meeting the most basic of needs, such as wayfinding. This demand in immersive design is dubbed "The Age of Experience" and it requires different creative disciplines to work hand-in-hand to create a meaningful and inspiring spatial experience. The first step is acknowledging that each experiential journey is unique and listen intently to the purpose of the service for its people.
