PEOPLE
We design for people by:
- Advocating Human-centric design where communities are able to actively thrive with the environment for total longevity
- Addressing basic needs through targetted changes that holistically benefit total health and well-being for both people and the planet
- Empowering ground-up co-creation of well-rounded transformative concepts that bolster progressive growth
PLACES
We strategize for future-proof places by:
- Implementing system-thinking processes into Masterplan frameworks for integrative design impacts at every level and scale
- Enabling the Circular Economy logic to reimagine the use of natural finite resources for regenerative opportunities
- Adopting research-based approaches and climate-resilient solutions to unravel sustainable economic potential
PROSPERITY
We partner for prosperity by:
- Synchronizing global stakeholders and local expertise for responsible win-win collaborations
- Initiating restorative frameworks for efficient and effective actions through the pillars of environment, social and economic
- Pioneering flexible green capital growth innovations that meet carbon performance indicators and drive steady financial returns
Launched in 2015 by the United Nations, the Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by all United Nations Member States, is a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for the people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
The Singapore Green Plan 2030 is a national sustainability movement which seeks to rally bold and collective action in tackling climate change. The Green Plan charts ambitious and concrete targets over the next 10 years, strengthening Singapore’s commitments under the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and Paris Agreement, and positioning her to achieve Singapore’s long-term net-zero emissions aspiration as soon as viable.
The Green Mark Certification scheme is a green building rating system launched in 2005 by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority, designed to evaluate a building’s environmental impact and performance. It is a comprehensive framework for assessing the overall environmental performance of new and existing building to promote sustainable design and best practices in construction and operations of buildings.

OUR APPROACH
WY-TO GROUP’S
GREEN COMMITMENTS
We take our shared responsibility for the built environment seriously. In our move towards the hallmark of climate excellence, WY-TO Group has developed 6 Green Commitments that are aligned with the Paris Agreement, the international treaty on climate change that entered into force in 2016. Locally, we design respectfully with Green Performance Index and innovate context-driven solutions with set parameters to push for circularity. Through this orchestrated movement, our projects perform in biophilic steps to meet the global Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations.
GREEN COMMITMENT #1
RESPONSIVE ENVIRONMENT DESIGN
We use an all-encompassing approach for climate resiliency in future-proof cities by:
- Contextual conceptualizing for a viable and tailored methodology
- Using environmentally-responsive interventions for biodiversity
- Conserving unique built identity for continued memories while meeting modern-day needs
GREEN COMMITMENT #2
SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EFFICIENCY
We adopt research-based approaches paired with Passive Design strategies for best carbon efficiency by:
- Capitalizing on natural climatic conditions for duly informed plans
- Managing thresholds to naturally increase capacity such as thermal comfort and reduce heat radiation
- Adopting responsible use of active systems to minimize overall carbon footprint
GREEN COMMITMENT #3
CIRCULAR ECONOMY STEWARDSHIP
We reimagine the use of finite resources to create cost-effective regenerative opportunities by:
- Considering ground-up experience to enhance top-down policies
- Interconnecting different stakeholders from macro to micro view
- Generating active and continued flow of systemic strategies for best-in-class solutions
GREEN COMMITMENT #4
BUILT ENVIRONMENT PROSPERITY
We initiate targetted changes to carve and deliver well-rounded ecosystem benefits by:
- Enhancing frameworks’ spontaneity in accelerating recovery processes organically
- Driving green capital growth for sustainable economies of returns
- Innovating win-win strategies from the convergence of Government, decision-makers and end-users
GREEN COMMITMENT #5
PROGRESSIVE PARTNERSHIP
We aim to pioneer transformative glocal collaborations for relevancy and steady success by:
- Maintaining unique urban identities
- Synchronizing global expertise and local experience through an aligned vision
- Identifying key performing indicators to meet regional green performance index
GREEN COMMITMENT #6
RESILIENT COMMUNITIES
We want to co-evolve with the environment to celebrate our co-existence continuously by:
- Sustaining existing communities in the built landscape
- Advocating for Human-centric design for community inclusivity and longevity
- Nurturing an active line of engagement between leadership and the people
