Sober and assertive, the exhibition offers large and colorful panels behind which visitors discover famous photographic works
Magnum celebrates 65 years with more than 60 active members with internationally renowned photographers. The exhibition highlights in its spaces the works of these three photographers – Stuart Franklin, Mark Power and Jacob Aue Sobol.
PhotoLab, situated directly adjacent to the Magnum exhibition ‘Outside In’, is an exhibition for schools and informal visitors with two primary aims:
- To provide a hands-on space where visitors can understand the principles and development of print and digital photography through ‘learning by doing’.
- To enhance visitors’ understanding of works on display in the Magnum exhibition.
PhotoLab consists of introductory ‘narrative’ display panels about the history and process of film and digital photography.
Here you can find also a small area where visitors can view short films on photography, a digital interactive area, and a darkroom in which workshops will take place on a regular basis.

L’exposition du ArtScience Museum possède un PhotoLab et un espace de travail à disposition. Ce PhotoLab est une première à Singapour et propose une chambre noire entièrement fonctionnelle .
