Design Excellence at all times, for everyone

The Good Design Research Pop-up Exhibition is conceptualized to bring design closer to the everyday man. Translated through the design of 3 mega coves, the curatorial theme “A Day in The Life” synergizes to house a curated set of prototypes and research. The exhibition design colour scheme – Green, Orange, and Purple, shape the visitor’s journey through daily ticks of the clock: Morning, Afternoon, and Night.

The curved niches were further developed to translate designs empowering nature in impacting our day-to-day activities. Sustainably constructed in standard-sized plywood and recycled steel structures, these free-standing inward panels were strategically placed. They assisted to dynamically opening up multiple vistas for content glimpses of exploration in the open space while doubling up to create focused display views for the permanent shops behind.

Overhangs were the final design touch in ensuring that the temporary outdoor exhibition remains immersive next to the busy road. They function to diffuse traffic noise at peak hours of the day while communicating through form; design’s impact in resolving challenges.
