JUNGLE-GKS aims to bring the expertise and high-quality materials of Gold Kings Systems (GKS) internationally. Gold Kings Systems is one of the leading suppliers of custom aluminium technology to airports and train stations. The branding exercise of JUNGLE-GKS stems from the in-depth study and analysis of the legacy of GKS, one where the company takes pride in the research, design and engineering of new and innovative products to fulfil the edge-cutting designs.
This is an especially important point to highlight as it is a testament to the company’s capacity and dexterity for forefront inventions, and the competency in implementing complex task. We approach the key theme by drawing parallels of the core strengths of the business to the properties of the very material of the craft: metal. The correlation of the two is strong and they both mirror the qualities of each other.
With the main theme of drawing parallels to the characteristics and property of metal, the design visual research is heavily based on the various simplified core structure of metal.
Inspiration is also drawn from looking at the process and various end products of GKS as we think that it would be meaningful and relevant to let the works of the craft to inform our visuals.
