Translating Authenticity into an Adaptive, Dynamic Web Experience

Creative Lighting Asia (CLA) prides itself on innovative lighting solutions that support a range of projects and applications. The brand, with its longstanding heritage, requires a website that is reflective of its reliability. Simple, straightforward, but not without a hint of flexibility. The wireframe of the website is designed with a dynamic grid layout echoed by the brand’s logo. The structure also provided seamless content adaptability and visual clarity for an optimal web viewing experience.

Content compilation and curation stemmed from months of benchmarking against CLA’s closest competitors. The positioning insights provided the necessary strategies for the web development and design to naturally fall in place. The main communication objective is to show the cutting-edge technology and expertise of CLA in the competitive lighting industry. Through projects dating from the brand’s founding, further distillation of the company’s values displayed an honest, authentic human side of the lighting industry leader. Hence, inspiring the selection of colours that represented optimism while adhering to readability comfort in the digital realm. Duotone effect is applied to key images where shadows and highlights are treated with the branding hues. When hovered over, the images will be illuminated in their full colour, illustrating how CLA had brought these “projects to light” – further aligning with their industry and capability. This too, allows for intuitive and accessible website navigation
